I've been terrible at updating this blog these past five months, because my calendar has been packed, and I've been scuttling around!
I suppose the big news -- which is reflected on the homepage of my website -- is that I have started a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Edinburgh School of Law for the research project Reversing the Gaze. I'm still mostly based in London when I'm in the UK, but I spend a few days in Edinburgh every few weeks. (I'm also still with Ateneo de Manila, but I have a year of teaching release.)

To kick off my fellowship (after initial Zoom meetings with teammates in our work package), I attended the project conference at the University of Basel last September.

Since then, though, I've been doing archival work around both Manila and the, UK, which I'll talk about in a different post.
It's been an intellectually stimulating last few months, and I feel very fortunate to be on this project!
